Probably not in arts and humanities, unfortunately, unless you write a bestseller, or become a film director. Depends how much money you want to retire on, or what age you want to be when you retire. Trouble is, in showbusiness, a lot of people aren't just motivated by the money, they do it because it is their obsession, so they tend to work till they die! Does this sound like you? If not, maybe look for a money-making profession, like the stock market, where you can make a fast buck & retire in your 30's. In any case, do something boring for a back-up, like opening a pension plan.

Depends how WEALTHY you wanna BE, when you DO, my friend! Lottery win? Football pools? There are many SIMILAR choices! Otherwise, USE that, which you should have learned, in SCHOOL, to get a well-paid JOB, - then, WORK HARD!
