There are traps called "live traps" and you put something inside they like to eat. When they go in the trap to check out the food, their weight releases a spring that shuts the door. The animal is alive and unhurt. You can then pick up the cage with the animal in it and transport it to wherever you want, then release it.

In the US, they are called "havahart" traps and come in a variety of sizes for different animals.

You have to be very careful when using them however. You have to leave enough food, water, and bedding material available if you intend to leave it overnight, or for a long period of time. Since the animal is trapped, and you are the one who trapped it, you are responsible for it's life until you release it in a proper place. If the animal becomes sick or dies from neglect, it is cruelty to animals.

Also, some states require permits even for live traps. You may want to check with your area's game warden or whomever guards your wildlife.
