I was just discussing this with my husband last night! LOL I have the same kind of hair and he told me red too just like the other poster said. I'm going to go for it also. I'm tired of my hair being so boring and greasy looking!

I am sure red colour is the best colour is the best on your dark brown/ black hair

I wouldn't go blonde thats for sure!!! But maybe a light brown!!

red, or what i have, i have brown hair, and i put caramel highlights in. looks awsome
