NO! Sorry there are enough programs out there to help in that area. There are shelters and low income housing which taxes dollars has been helping! Now tax my property just because I have worked for it. Stop punishing people for working.

There already is. If you study you would know that the income taxes for the wealthy are much greater now, and pays for most of all government programs. There is also federal and state tax on almost anything you buy, or own in the form of sales and property tax, so the more you buy / own, the more you pay.

Also, if you would, or could, study up on the homeless, you would find the majority of them are due to mental problems, drugs, and bad life decisions, not because someone made them.

Yeah, let's put a tax on luxury properties since the rich people did not make the wrong choices in life.

Absolutely NOT!!! Should a luxury tax be put on shoes if a person has more than one pair? Some people don't have shoes.
Should a luxury tax be placed on people who buy steak? Some people don't have enough to eat. Should a luxury tax be placed on having and using a computer? Some people can't afford one.
Should a luxury tax be placed on toilet paper? Some people can't afford to buy it!

Here is a simple truth I want you to carefully ponder.

If you want to stop something tax it. If you want to encourage something, it subsidize it.

We should be encourage success not encourage failure.

This is America. Land of the rugged individual. We are offered great opportunities here but we must take advantage of them.

I like rich people. Rich people provide me with a living. I hope to be a rich person some day. I think everyone would strive to be a rich person.
