Why are liberals the insurgents of this country?

I think the influence of socialism has had this effect on people. The socialist mind is insidious. They have been at this for many decades. Many people who start out with good intentions end up getting poisoned by the cynical socialists who keep a steady stream of propaganda flowing into our heads.

Most every movie takes a socialist point of view, most every TV show keeps up the constant drum beat. Did you ever notice that "evil corporations" are so often the culprit in lawyer dramas?
Are you aware of all of the movies and documentaries that take the enemy point of view? How many Vietnam War movies depicted the American soldiers in a positive light? In fact, when was the last time you saw a pro-American uplifting movie?

No, I don't think most of today's liberals, especially the young ones, are the evil insurgents you speak of. Many have just grown up in an environment that has given them the wrong message. And as is usual for young people, they want to belong. So they adopt whatever seems to be the cool attitude among their peers.
Unfortunately, if their mind set is being crafted by popular culture they stand little chance of ever realizing they are being programmed.

It takes a strong willed person to stand up to the crowd and right now these are in short supply.

Because they believe "WE" are the problem. They believe everything that is wrong in the world has nothing to do with natural progression, chance, or just plane evil, it is because we caused it. Don't worry, they will change their mind when nature or evil finally gets to them in their safe, soft, carefree life. I just hope it's not to late for all of us. Here are some things this conservative believes are facts to ponder:

The primary cause of pollution is overpopulation and greedy people all over the world demanding MORE, MORE, MORE. It is not just the US industries & businesses.

The islamic radical fundamentalists want to kill ALL of us non-believers, and will not stop until either they are successful or we stop them. I don't really know why, but It is not because the US envaded Afganistan / Iraq. I'm not sure they even really understand why. These wars now are just a couple of battles in a much larger war.

The earth is warming, but we do not yet know exactly why. There are some good theories as to why, but none are conclusive. We need to spend more time studying and discussing all theories, and less arguing about it. The news media should not take sides in this matter. Just report the facts. It is to important to get it wrong.

Liberals should not fool the people into believing that things like solar energy or fuel cells, etc. is cheap and easy and their is some kind of conspiracy forcing the people to use oil and gas. The fact is that solar energy, and other alternatives is very expensive compared to elec./gas in most areas, and that the average person could not even afford to install a system that would supply their house, or buy a fuel cel car. Even if installed, you would need to give up many conveniences. Lets be real. Get the facts.

I could go on and on. I just want you to know that Conservatives just want the facts. Not hype. Not beliefs. Not feelings. Liberals are dangerous only because they want to believe what they are told and what they feel. They are not bad people. They just don't want to get down to the facts.
