I should also add that i did have a M/C in Oct. at 9 wks so that is another reason why i am probally extra nervous.

You can sleep on your stomach until it becomes uncomfortable ... it is not going to hurt the baby.

DO NOT sleep laying flat on your back after 16wks (I think ... that is what the DR said when I was preg) because their is a main vien that streches from your hurt to the uterus and as the uterus grows sleeping on your back can cause it to put to much pressure on the vein cutting off blood flow to both you and the baby.

But dont panic if you wake up to find yourself sleeping on your back ... that is probably what woke you up to after all because you will become short of breath.

I am 15 weeks pregnant and still sleep on my stomach a lot. The doctor said that it is perfectly fine. It is when it becomes uncomfortable when you should stop. Just try to rotate and sleep on your side as well.
Your baby is very well cushioned in there.

You can sleep on your stomach as long as it's comfortable. At least that's what my doctor told me. After a while you won't be able to because the baby will be too big. Right now, your baby is just a tiny little thing so you don't have to worry!

You & baby are fine! It won't be long till you will feel like you are on a bowling ball when you get on your stomach, so you're doing good to try to alter that now. Doc says sleep on your side, but I slept on my back most of the time until I got huge!

congratulations!!!!

Continue sleeping on your stomach as long as it comfortable. Just don't sleep on your back. The weight of the baby can put pressure on the umbillical cord and cut off oxygen, blood supply, and food to the baby.

As long as you are comfortable, the baby is fine. I asked my doctor this when I was about 6 months along. After he got over the shock that I still could, he explained that the baby has so much padding, esp. as early as you are, it will be fine. It got to where the baby would let me know that he didn't like me sleeping that way, and I had to move.

I still sleep on my stomach, and everything is going the way it should.. If you are comfortable on your stomach then it should be fine for you to sleep on it.. When you start getting bigger and no longer can sleep on it you will wish you had taken every chance you had to do so in the begining.... Congratulations..

I slept on mine until I just couldn't any more. I have two beautiful daughters with no defects ages 17 and 12. Eventually, you'll be so uncomfortable that you will find a way to sleep on your side. Good luck!

You can sleep on your stomach until you yourself begin to feel uncomfortable. Its perfectly fine. I slept on mine until I was around 14 or 15 weeks.
