"1408" is the name of the short story in the book "Everything's Eventual." It's about a skeptical guy that rents a haunted hotel room. 1+4+0+8=13, the unlucky number, and as best I can remember, that's partly why this particular room is haunted.

I think 1408 is the title of the story. IMDB.com doesn't list an alternate title, and they usually do.
