It is probably hard for you to be around the memories of your friend, but you should try to explain your reasons for leaving to the people remaining. You can also offer to keep in touch by phone, computer, mail and to get together, say once a month or once every couple of months (meet somewhere int he middle for dinner and a movie type thing). If these friendships are meant to remain distance won't hurt them, if not, no loss. Good luck and God Bless.

Well sweetheart, i'm sorry to hear that about your friend. In times like these, that's a normal response is to get away from it all. At the end of the day.. you will leave these ppl anyway weither it be now or when you graduate. I understand your feeling of no one ever being able to replace your friend. My first day at college, a highschool friend of mine was murdered at a football game in front of everyone. When I heard that, I wanted and needed to be alone. Well, you take care ok sweets, just don't be afraid to be friends with someone else ok.

Well at first I didn't quite understand why you wanted to switch schools, but now I do, because of the memories of Dennis and everything. Just promise me you will still associate with the people from your old school. And as far as the people getting mad at you, just tell them to stay out of it.

Don't worry about what they think. Depending on where you live, chances are if you switch schools, you won't see any of those people again. You have a very good reason for leaving, and they should respect that. Good luck!
