Short answer is "nothing" - even if you go "red".
you can buy a "resetter" cheaply ebnough these days (Ebay). Onterestingly, mine went flat (battery) while I was out of the country for a onth or so, came back and for some reason it had reset everything back to all green. Backup battery in gizmo perhaps only good for so many days?

The only bad thing is if you depend on the lights for servicing notification, you're gonna miss it. You can, as previously said, keep track of your mileage and get it changed.
However, considering you have a M3 and BMW includes these lights to remind the driver of needed service, ie preventive maintenance - consider the expense involved with repairs to BMW's, you might wanna just reset the light.
So, to answer your immediate question, no... but for piece of mind, I would, unless you like driving with those lights lit on your dash.

Nothing as long as you record the mileage at the time of the oil change.
