Nothing will actually happen you will just have that irritating light staring at you all of the time. However, if it is not reset after the oil change you will not know when to change it the next time. Re-setting the light is usually pretty simple once you find the procedure in your Operations and Maintenance Manual (Owners Manual) it may require turning the key and depressing the gas pedal rapidly 5 times or something like that. The truely hard part is finding the instructions in the Manual in the first place.

it wont hurt anything its just going to annoy you a lot ,and eventually burn the bulb out for the light bit it wont hurt it,id recommend it be re-set though,then it will work tight the next time is comes due an oil change on it,good luck,i hope this help,s.
