You crack it in a cup whip it like you scrambling them , remove the cap , and then pour into a cold radiator, It's not a permanant fix, it's only good till you get to the repair shop...You can also go to the Auto parts store and get a powder to fix the leak...Called Alumi Seal. It only costs $1.50 and it's more permanant.

It works on small pin holes and lasts for about a week or two. When the engine is cool, open the radiator cap (not the reservoir cap) and start the engine. After about 5 minutes of idling, break an egg and dump into the radiator and put the cap on (don't put the shell in the radiator). After a couple of minutes the tiny pin holes will be filled with egg matter. Since eggs are biodegradable, the egg will deteriorate and the hole will open again, but hopefully there will be more egg to replace that what is lost. Soon you will be at the radiator shop to have it properly fixed.

Boil the egg for 5-7 minutes, let it cool. Peel it, put a little salt and pepper on it and eat it. Take the car to the shop and have the radiator repaired.

This is for emergency purposes only. Don't think this is a permanent cure for a leak. You put an egg in your rad, the whole system might get plugged up and that will cost you thousands.

Never heard of an egg fixing or even slowing a radiator leak but, coarse ground black pepper will.

Actually you don't. You will need a blow torch and a welding rig girlfriend leave the eggs for the birds.

when macguyver did it in the episode where he ran the broken down jeep in the train tracks he said it would be only a temporary fix. He was of course able to escape.

Don't do it; go to an parts store and get some sealant or go to a automobile service canter and get it fixed; if not you will have more and major problems later
