As of April 1, 2000 the population was 1,048,319. There are only 5 counties in Rhodes Island. To give you an idea of how small Rhode Island is, our smallest county here in Texas, Rockwall County, is about 1/10 its size.

Rhode Island isn't a state. Its a mythical city that is believed to exist somewhere at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean surrounded by shark feces. From what I've heard, there's only about 3 people that are able to live in an place that's so small.
