I am building a pc, a whopper. LOL I have three hard drives I want to put in this tower making it a whopping 200 GB hard drive. How do I do this though, has anyone done it before. I have placed one of the hard drives in the tower and just get a blue screen what am I doing wrong?

first plug 1st hard drive in primary ide cable, install the operating system and then plug 2nd in the second slot of primary cable.
then 3rd in similar fashion.

if os is already installed, then u have to remove jumpers from the disks. the jumper is tiny black rectangular piece in the socket near the socket where u plug the cable in the hard drive. remove jumpers from both additional hdd and then restart.

Do you have a RAID? Or are you just trying to put them in as single drives? Also are they SATA or IDE drives? And on the blue screen... down at the bottom where it says ***STOP*** then it should give a code 0x000000** what is the last two?

which hard drive has OS? first only use the OS hard drive than turn on the computer, turn it off and than install the other 2 hard drives. make sure the OS is on master and other 2 are on cable select. if u need more help let me know...

I'm not really sure so I'm just going to guess.. check your jumper settings..... are you use an IDE config or RAID????
