I went to college to be a high school English teacher, and my first certification area in Florida is English 6-12.
I took the k-6 teacher's certification exam three years ago--without studying--and passed on the first attempt.
Since, I have taken the 5-9 social studies certification exam and the FELE, which I passed on the first attempts.
