i want to take over my dads farm when i graduate high school and work for him.....he does not have any animals or anything he just farms land....so should i or do i need to go to college for this or can i just start know and not have to worry about college......and is there any college classes for me to take for thast type of job

You can be an agriculture major at many colleges. Out by me, Purdue University has a great ag program, and so does University of Illinois-Champaign. I think a college degree in agriculture this day and age is critical-there's lots more to deal with environmentally and financially than there was when your dad took over the farm. Check with your state universities' websites to see what's available.

there are various ag majors, oftentimes 2 year programs at local community colleges. also might want to consider some business courses, could be part of an ag program
