I really ought to have asked this yesterday. How can I help my plastic-and-duct-tape car window survive a torrential downpour/thunderstorm??? It's the front, passenger-side window, and I can't get the glass replaced until Wednesday. :S

What can I do???

You know what they say about Duct tape......Spare the Duct tape spoil the project (Red Green)

Get a 5 mil plastic then along with taping it to the inner part of the door, to help keep it dry. put an X pattern on the plastic, this will reinforce it.

Duct tape is not worth the paper the bill is printed on. Try to keep it in a garage or put a tarp over it until Wednesday.
