civil war between Sunni Muslims & Shiite Muslims to see who will control the Middle East?

And if he can't stop a civil war in Iraq there isn't a snowballs chance in hell that he'll be able to stop a Mideast regional civil war even if he had 500,000 US troops. So I'd love to hear from some conservative/Neocon foreign policy genius on what the point is to keeping US troops in Iraq?

There is a better chance of Donald Trump dating Rosie O'Donnel than the US winning the war in Iraq.

He does realise. The point of keeping the troops in Iraq is to help the people who don't want to fight other people and are caught in the civil war.
If you see 2 people fighting each other in the street, do you try to stop them or just walk on and don't care?

Wow, did you think that up all by yourself? I'm impressed, not. Where have you been for the last year and a half or so. I think everyone is well aware of the problems in the Middle East. Ok, so you said what the problem is over there, but what I'm really wanting to hear from you is, What do you suppose we do to solve the problem? What are your ideas? That's what I thought, a lot of ranting with no solutions. The usual.

wrong. he is caught trying to do right by a country surrounded by other countries who cannot control their citizens.

there is no point in keeping troops in Iraq other than occupying strategic bases.

no one has said that we need to keep troops fighting in Iraq forever. the troop surge is, and has been advertised as, a last push to stabilize, so that we can withdraw. i hope it helps, but it has been made clear that if the Iraqis don't step up, we can't keep holding their country together.

because of the fact we're not functionally illiterate. for the reason which you in all hazard have not got all day to envision something, right here is the quick version. "Secession" and "commencing a conflict" are no longer even comparable issues. Claiming in any different case is like claiming walking out of your place is the comparable as placing fire to it. as with every hyperlinks any Democrat has ever published, yours DISPROVES your declare. no longer something you presented right here inspired conflict in any respect. for sure slavery replaced right into a extensive component to the inducement to SECEDE yet no longer A single LINE of what you published or which will properly be got here upon by skill of chasing your link shows GOING TO conflict. NO State and NO man or woman ever inspired "going to conflict to guard slavery." It basically on no account occurred - as YOUR supplies make undeniable.

He is a mentally retarted monkey who has a taste for destruction and killing innocent civilians (may it be Iraq or Afgahnistan)
He has sown the seeds of civil war in Iraq and now would retreat leaving his mess behind ( Typical of USA administration)

I'm not a neocon, but the regional ideological war was underway long before Bush put us in the middle of it.

No, he does not realize this. Nor does anyone who thinks this war in Iraq has anything to do with terrorism. It is about two religious factions fighting each other. Period.

To ensure our best interests are taken care of and not left to the whim of terrorists who have fooled people into thinking there is a civil war.
