Hey your shooting the messenger here.

Your Elected Senators are the ones coming up with the use of wasted.

As a XUSMC infantrymen with 26 opperations under my belt I would not think wasted is the best choice of words. But hey I'm not a Senator.

What are you doing to fight the war against terrorism? WASTED - how dare demean the lives of our brave military that fought & are fighting to preserve our freedom.

And for T.W, I am very sorry for your loss, your cousin is truly America's hero. God Bless!

Short Bus - If you were a TRUE Marine X would have never come before USMC - there is no X Marines - Once a Marine Always a Marine.

Where are you Thorgirl??? Do I have to rip this guy a new one without you?!?

OK, here goes...We are NOT at war against Iraq. We are there to protect their new found freedom and help stabilize thier gov't and defeat an enemy that threatens to destroy it. Destruction of Iraq's weak infrastructure has serious implications around the world: We and many countries including impoverished nations are depending on their oil, directly and indirectly. It is better for WORLD economy that Iraq be a free nation.

I am sorry that you see soldier's lives as "wasted", which is further proof that people like you do not support the troops. They are there to protect your freedom and that of those around the world struggling to find freedom and I for one, am thankful to each and every one of them and wish them all a safe return.

432 lives. Additionally, 31 were lost to extreme boredom. 4 were lost b/c the "other" person found out and the soldiers said if he/she finds out "I'll just die." 29 were lost in the mail. Maybe one day, brother, the RedStaters will wake up and address the more important issue of mailroom mortality. Be strong.

No one who has died serving his country has wasted their lives. Senator McCain knows this more than anyone.

Where do you get your info from? Most American troops come from the south and the Midwest, two strong red state areas.

Why do I bother to reason with an idiot like yourself?

Its quite sad, we haven't fought to win the war, whether just or unjust, you fight to win a war, not to appease the rest of the world. America didn't learn that in Vietnam, and still hasn't learned it

Well, our soldiers could do their jobs a lot better if you Democrats and Liberals would stop bitching and saying the war is illegal. Just shut up and let or soldiers do their jobs and stop trying to disrupt their morale.
