That's an interesting question - I wonder how you came up with those 2 choices???

Personally, I'd rather not go back to the past and relive it. Mine wasn't all that great, and I made choices to "get out of it" and be happy, and it's worked out well enough so far that when I look back, I don't have regrets about my decisions.

So by default, I'd choose to be able to read people's minds. However, I don't think I'd use this power, very often, unless there was a very good reason, because it seems like an invasion of privacy. Maybe I'd use it to help another person, or save a person's life....

Read the Mind. People lie about their thoughts, they say one thing and intend to do another. I'd rather know who's opposed to me or accepting to me up front. That way I know whom to avoid or to confront about what's on my mind/ project(s). Truth is the most valuable commodity, but the most feared. Truth is power. Real beneficial change only come from it.

It would differently be to go back to the past.
Would you really want to know the truth about what people think of you. That would be a harsh reality and would drive anyone insane.
