there is a chemical that breaks down your lining when you have a period, but sometimes you bleed too quickly and the chemical doesnt have time to take effect so you end with a clots coming out...it happens to me, and its quite normal for some people! if your clots are quite big, like larger than 2inches, then you might want to go to your doc just to be safe. But it is quite normal :) dont worry! :) xx

It could just be the blood clotting together like it is supposed to when you have an injury. Like when you have a cut and a scab forms.

i was scared about this question myself. My doctor said it was normal. I don't believe her though. I've had 2 miscarriages and I neve clotted in my period until I miscarried. I hope you can find a good answer because I really don't believe that it's normal.
