I've never used paypal or ebay before, so I just want to make sure I get everything.

If I buy something from Ebay for $5, and shipping is $3. I would send $8 to the seller right?

I keep thinking that I'd only send the $5 and then pay the shipping after it got to me or something.

Paypall will ask you for the amount plus shipping that the seller sets into it.

If you live somewhere obscure the seller may have to adjust the cost... also if you want to get it some not normal means.

You can't pay the postal delivery guy as its shipping and handling... you are paying the seller for the box and the time in stuffing the box.

Yes.....the amount + the shipping...when you buy the item the seller sends you an invoice with the total amount
