I have found some simple ways to help betta eat. Try shaking his food at the top of the tank(MAKE SURE LID IS TIGHT)then if he swims to the top try feeding him 4 pellets that is what worked with mine hope i helped

I have no problems. My betta is a voracious eater.
I hope that 4 pellets is all you are feeding him/her because if you feed your betta 4 pellets a couple of times a day, it's not healthy for you betta, you're over feeding it.

mine never have trouble with food, as soon as i stand near the tank they do their "omgz dinner!" dance.
4 pellets each mealtime sounds like a lot though. think of their stomach the size of their eye! (they think it's bottomless though...)

Interesting suggestion. I guess we do what ever it takes to get picky fish to eat.
