I think is is not that serious. NBA and media are making it so dramatic. Now Wade's second thoughts about surgery are delayed. This is whats going to happen. Wade is going to come back for the playoffs. And NBA and their media makes him a Fake Hero who came out-of-a-season-ending-injury.

All I know is Kobe seperated his shoulder a couple of years ago....He only missed 6 games.Last week he hyper-exstended his elbow,he shook it off and came back and won.I like D-wade but when it comes to injuries,,,he's a drama queen.

Dude anytime that there is a dislocated shoulder it is serious. If Wade is smart, he will get the surgery, because this year doesnt matter anyway for the Heat. I find it unlikely that the Heat will even make the playoffs without Wade, and I see no reason why he should risk an even more serious injury, just so the Heat can get through the first round of the playoffs. Wade should get the surgery, sit the rest of the season out, and I gurantee you that he will be back better than he ever was.

it is not a fake injury. he has a choice to have surgery or not. if he doesnt and comes back then he runs the risk of getting a career ending injury. he has already one the championship once and has is very young. there is no need for him to rush back. the heat are actually playing pretty well on shaq shoulders and have just beat the suns. i think that they have a chance without wade, but even if they had wade they could not beat the mavs or even the suns in a series

I'm giving Wade the benefit of the doubt and I'm going to say the injury is serious. It would be a pathetic shame if it turned out this whole thing was an act. I mean why put the fans through that?

Ummm.....

"Hi my name is Dwayne Wade. I am a very competitive super star who likes to win. Right now my team is currently struggling and in a very tight plaoff race. Because I am so competitive, i think i will fake an injury, whine on the court I look like a little baby (to risk my image), and hurt my team's chances at a good playoff run...It's also good, because when i am sitting, i get cold and it may take me a while to get back into the swing of things once i come back, which would definately end my team's chances at a good post season."

That's a ridiculous question. He is a great ball player and great competitor. In no way would he fake an injury and hurt his team! Not to mention with him out, they will get a much worse seed in the playoff's

Wade is not faking, has no reason to.

Heat is not a lock to playoffs without Wade.

Serves Pat the Rat (biggest faker of all) right...

Have you ever separated your shoulder? It hurts like no other, and the shoulder has a LOT going on in basketball, i wouldnt be surprised to see something torn in there....d wade is an extreme competitor ...look at the way he reacted last year in the finals....people doubt him, he turns it on...and he would be back if he could be back.

could be the best marketing ploy ever made...they will hang around the weak East making a 6 or 7 seed, Shaq will pick up his playing minutes and be in good shape by playoff time and miraculously he returns for the playoffs...how good would that play in the press???, now if he really is hurt that bad they will not advance past the second round...

I don't think it's fake and even if it's real it's wade either way he'll come back 2 play.

its real no way a 20 something old man will be crying it wasn't fake at all but the media or the sports analyst may be exaggerating a little bit
