Theoretically, yes it is possible for you to be rich & successful. If you put your Mind & Heart to do anything, making it the ONLY priority of your Life and nothing else exists to you, then yes, of course you have a chance.
However, it's probably going to take a lot of work & sacrifice. Are you willing to spend the next 20 years of your life to finally be rich & successful ... at the age of 56+? Are you willing to put leisure, friends, love, family, etc. in the backseat in order to get what you want? Are you willing to work hard, overwork, endure stress, and risk your health in order to be successful? You can try, and see how things work out.
The costs may outweigh the benefits. Everything has a price - including working to get rich. Are you willing to pay the price?
You really have to ask your Self.... is this what you really want in Life? When you are about to die and you look back on your life, do you think that the only way you will die happy about your life is if you were rich & successful? Do you think there is no other way you can be happy & "successful"? Your Mind might think so, but I think you should ask your Heart, too. Ask your heart: "Is lots of money & being "successful" what you really, really want?"
Because I wonder. If you're 36 now, what were you doing for the past 10 years???? Most people who REALLY want to be rich & successful, they start much earlier - in most cases, right after they leave school. So you can ask your Self, why you didn't start earlier.
Maybe the way for you to be rich & successful in life, is to just try and find a way to do what you love & be happy (and to start saving a LOT of money, instead of spending it all). If you're doing work that you love, and if you're happy with your Self, then you will Feel rich & successful........ and other people will also think you are successful, too.
As I'm sure you know, many rich & successful people are not happy (just follow the celebrity news), and while many ordinary, unhappy people envy them..... maybe it is they who envy the people who are truly happy.
Whatever you decide to do, I wish you both prosperity & happiness ---

Definitely yes. There are always ways to save more money, and in turn make that money work for you. Invest your money in stocks, bonds, real estate, anything that you feel comfortable with, as long as the money you earn makes for more profits in the future. The going is a little tough at first, but with compound interest and some time, you can become quite rich.
