The BEST thing that has ever happened to me. Everything is very REAL. It's hard for me to describe. But you know when you hear parents talking about how they would do anything for their child and they love them, ETC... That really is how you feel, but it is just such a real feeling. It is indescribible.

Amazing.Surreal.Excitement.Love.

My labor was fast. I was 41 weeks and I went into the hospital to be induced the night before. ( I had to be treated with anti-biotics for beta-strep) They started the putocin at 8:30am, broke my water at 9:30, told my parents to go out to eat, take there time, it'd be a while. They were shocked when they came back and found out that I was already pushing at 11:00am. Fortunately they had decided not to drive the 45 minutes home to pick up some stuff otherwise they would have missed the birth. I delivered her at 11:43 after only 3hours of labor. (They told me I better camp out in front of the hospital with the next one.)

I couldn't sleep after the birth, all I could do was watch her in the bassinet next to me. I was actually afraid to touch her she was so tiny. The nurse had to put her hat on and explain to me that babies are a lot heartier then they look. I loved every minute of it (not the pain) but that didn't matter after the delivery. Every time I talk about the birth of any of my children (3) I relive that amazing experience. There is nothing like bringing a new life into this world.

Having a baby is the most amazing thing in the world. Not just with your first. You look at them and just stare. Wondering my life is going to change forever and for the best. Also when looking at them, you think to yourself, I made this little baby. It's sooo different when you hold your own. I just can't imagine my children not being in my life. They are the greatest.

I felt bad when you hear about other women who can't have a baby. Now I just cry, as these ladies may never get to experience the gift of giving life. Both of my children were born by c-section, so I kind of had the birth experience.

Good luck to all mommies to be and the future mommies too.

One word: MIRACULOUS! I had different experiences w/all 3 births. My 1st, I was scared & had to push baby down into birth
canal.(I was induced @ 40wks) My daughter was born & this little angel just looked at me & I forgot about anything else. My 2nd was a lot easier(it took about 1/2 the time as my 1st) Was also induced (@39 wks) My son peed all over the doctor when he was born(daddy was so proud)hee, hee! My 3rd was a C-section @ 38wks. I had twin girls! I thought it wouldn't be as great, since I didn't get to have them vaginally, but,WOW, it was
truly amazing to see two little faces looking at me! I don't think
it ever gets old, it just gets better each time!

Amazing!
I was young, and the entire pregnancy I denied it was actually happening. I would not wear maternity clothes, would not let people touch my stomach, HATED it when people called me "mommy". I didn't want a baby shower, and NO pictures of me pregnant. But once she was born, after 36 hours of labor, and I held that sweet little girl, I knew I was on this earth to be a mom! I can't imagine anything else better!

Well, I was alone, so that part sucked. Then the nurses wouldn't admit me b/c I wasn't 5cm dialated, then they wanted me to walk across an 8 lane highway to the mall and walk around by myself. Yeah, they were great! Totally kidding! Finally, after 3hrs of walking, they admitted me and my mom showed up to be w/ me. After some hours of the labor thing, they told me I was ready to push. 3 pushes and 20 mins. later, my beautiful daughter was here! Then they had to rush her to the NICU b/c her blood oxygen level was dangerously low, so they woke me up at 2am so I could hold her again. She was out of the danger zone at that point, so I never let her go after that. Then the next day, the crazy guy beat on the Liberty Bell w/ a hammer.

Wonderful...the best thing I have ever been through...I had my baby by c-section 9 weeks ago today. And it was just perfect, the recovery time was not bad at all, at least for me. The pain would go away everytime I looked at my perfect little boy!!!

Unbelivable experience, as soon as you hold that baby you feel a lot of love and want to protect that baby from everything. I was a little scared being a first time mom, but a lot of things come naturally to you.

Scary. My labour was 28 hours long. I had absolutely no experience taking care of a baby, so it was a learning experience for me. My mom helped me out a lot, so that made things a lot better. With time, things get a lot easier.
