I had a faint positive line like maybe 4 days before my missed period. I re took it after my missed period and the line was pretty dark. It does get darker as days progressed as your HCG hormones increase but you just took it a day later it takes some time. But any line is a positive test. And the fact that you have three tests with a a faint line I'd say you definitely are.
My cousin lost her baby at 20 weeks and my mom miscarried three times so I know how hard it can be to lose a baby. Just know that chances for miscarriage greatly decreases after the 12th week and as you get further along. Also there are things to avoid. Cat Urine is a big thing to avoid. When my mom miscarried those three times we had 4 cats. They determined it was the cats so we sold the persian one and gave the other three away and then she got pregnant again and everything went ok.
My cousin thinks her miscarriage is attributed to the fact that she has like 30 birds in her house in cages that she cleans out herself. Many pets carry diseases that are harmful to a fetus. Don't know if you have pets but it is important to avoid too much contact. Always wash your hands and try to get someone else to change litters stuff like that.
Also avoid heavy lifting extraneous excersise.
Everything may be okay this time around. Definitely start your prenatal care as soon as possible and voice your concerns about your this pregnancy and how the previous one may affect it.

Congratulations! If you are getting a faint positive, three times, even before you have missed your cycle I would say you are pregnant. HPT's are 99% accurate for positive and only 50% for negative. The one thing I have heard that can give a false positive is if you are on certain fertility medication, but that happens around ovulation time and since you said your period is due in 2 days I definably think congratulations are in order.
I know this does not help, but the majority of miscarriages happen on the first pregnancy. I'm no doctor, but I do not think the first pregnancy will have bearing on the second.
I also had a miscarriage (my 2nd preg.). I took the test and the next day it happened. But it did not affect my next 2 pregnancies.
Again, congratz! You'll do great!

I did the same thing I thought that when it was faint I wasn't sure so I took two, same thing. Didn't have tender breasts. So I waited a week and take another and same thing. But the Dr. told me that even a faint line means pregnant, now 24 weeks later expecting baby girl number two.
My first pregnancy the very first test came back with two bright lines with the tender breasts so I knew. I guess every pregnancy is different.

The only thing that turns those lines positive is the presence of Hcg in your body. The only way there is a presence of Hcg in your body (high enough to be detected on a test) is if you are pregnant. I had very faint lines with my first 2 pregnancies that didn't darken up for a month or so....but they are walking talking little blessings now...so you ARE pregnant! Congratulations!! And it's normal to not have full-blown symptoms for a little while after implantation....every pregnancy is different.

You haven't given the line time to get darker. I have had the faint line and 40 weeks later I had a baby. The color of the line is determined by the amount of HCG in your urine. Not by how pregnant you are. Symptoms don't always start this early.

Your pregnancy test shows a positive result and you should be scheduling a doctor appointment. Even if you get a period, you still need to see the doctor, because lots of women have a seemingly normal regular period while in the first stage of pregnancy.

Any line means pregnant, congratulations. Sometimes it is just so soon after you have concieved that the hormones are weak so they don't register as strongly as they would later on. All of my tests were very faint, some so much I had to hold it up to the light to see, but we were trying each time and I was so excited I tested a little early. Good luck and congratulations again.

Yes typically it should get darker as your hormones increase, but you haven't missed a period yet either. I know the test can be taken before you miss your period.. Call your doctor, explain what's going on, and let them do a blood test. The lab will let your doctor know if your hormones are at a good level, and if not, they'll wait another week and test again, unless you have started your period.... Good luck... I wish you the best

the line will not necessarily get darker even if everything is going great during the pregnancy. It all depends on how much of the hormone a womans body produces. My body never produced enough in the early stages to get a dark line and I had two healthy beautiful babies.

I think any line means pregnant. I didn't get any symtoms till about the second month, so I don't know. What I used and is known not to lie, is Clearblue. The test thateither says pregnant or not. Drink plenty of water before the test and my results came within 2 seconds. Good luck!
