Same thing happened to me with my Brunswick Danger Zone HPC, HPD & HPH's. A few years ago, these bowling balls did very well during scratch leagues and PBA Regional tournaments, then maybe the formulation of new lane surfaces had something to do with it where reaction was just flat and the equipment had suddenly gone lifeless, no matter if I polish, sand or recondition the bowling ball.

Now, I'm using the Brunswick Inferno series (PBA Inferno, Radical Inferno) and new Brunswick Fury. Hammer has the Black Widow, Storm has the Shift and Jolt, Morich has the "Awesome" line, Columbia has the Big Shot and Action Attack and Ebonite has the NV for their respective performance lines.

Check out bowlersparadise.com, bowling.com, bowlingballsales.com and respective bowling equipment manufacturer websites for further assistance. Good luck!

Balls don't just change on their own....you are probably doing something different.....or maybe someone changed the conditions on the lanes that you have been bowling on......its been awhile since I bowled but it is like riding a bike....if it is not the conditions then you changed something.....maybe have someone that knows you well ...he could watch what you maybe doing different or see some errors in your delivery.....keep your slide foot perpendicular to the foul line when you finish.....when your thumbs start to come out of the ball....keep the other two fingers in the ball and try to keep them in trying to keep the ball from coming out (no way it won't it will come out and put the "torque" that you need).....I can go and pick up a house ball right know and do well with it.....but not as one customed fit to my hand and fingers....a ball is a ball....it doesn't "peter" out.....all you need is two balls.....one harder then the other for wet or dry conditions......good luck on the tour!

I'd suggest an LT-48 or a Yellow Dot.

i use a tropical storm, i love it. its my first ball ive bought and i can seem to adjust in just about any condition. i have heard nothing but good things about the total NV. that ones alittle more, but worth it. just look into it.

I would ask the pro shop person at your local alley. They are the best for advice. If you want some web research here are some links:

Good luck! Hope you get a 300 with your new ball :-)
