Why doesn't the \www in ROTT give me all weapons?

I know 10 years ago when i played the origial DOS version of ROTT....entering \WWW would give you woundless with weapons. Well, after finding a copy (which isn't really that hard anymore), i fired up DosBox and started to play...but..no weapons. i can run a couple of the \gw# commands...but after i get two or three it won't let me have any more.

what the hell is wrong? did i get a corrupted game...did they change the code...is there something i'm not doing?

I don't recall www giving you all weapons. It was a word or something...

Type dipstick to enable cheat mode. Once activated, type one of the following codes to enable the corresponding cheat function.
