When I was pregnant with my 1st daughter, I was experiencing a lot of pain in the same location. I addressed my concern with my OB who informed me that it was round ligament pain. It's simply your insides and outsides stretching to make room for your little one. It is very common!

I am not a Doctor or a Nurse, so to put your mind at ease, call the Nurse!

Good Luck and Congrats!!!!!!

I used to experience this it was the stretching of the ligmants in my back and sides. if it is really bad pain i would call the doctor. It could be a kidney or bladder infection and will need medical help. But other than that i would say if it is not causing you a lot of pain then it is probably just the stretching of ligamants and skin. It could also be the baby growing and forcing your skin to stretch.

I am almost 4 months pregnant. I have pain on my right side and my doctor said I should get it on my left side too but i haven't yet. She said it is the ligaments stretching. As far as the feeling like you got your period, I feel the same thing and when I check, it's nothing. I do have clear discharge which I heard is normal and to be expected. I have my doctors phone number on speed dial. I have had 6 previous miscarraiges and have never made it this far so I call for every little thing. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

I experienced this as well when I was pregnant...I contacted my doctor and she said it was a strain on the round ligament, which is the ligament that stretches when your uterus is growing, it can also get worse the more active you become. I would suggest resting, taking a warm bath and maybe having your husband or boyfriend giving you a massage...but of course call your doctor to make sure everything else is OK...

I had the same pain when I was about three months and everyone said it was completely normal. They say it is just stretching pains and that's something you will experience for quite a while. It is just your baby growing and your body adapting to the changes. Don't worry, it isn't a bad thing at all!

Sounds like normal stretching and growing to make room for baby. As far as "feeling" like spotting, but finding nothing there, many pregnant women report added discharge or added "wetness" so that's probably normal too. Congrats!

I felt that pain too, i thought something was wrong, but it turned out to be nothing, so don't get worried, im 25 weeks now and I feel great. I felt that pain only sometimes, just like you and it didn't last long, but b/c i didn't know what it was i was worried, youre okay.

Just to be safe Go to the doctor. That's what he's there for to help you through you pregnancy. I knwo that if it was just on the left side it means you gotta go poop.

your uterus is expanding. I would talk to your Dr though. It might be a concern to talk to him/her about. I've had two babies and on my third It is totally normal to even experience sharp contractions again this is just your uterus expanding but really ask your Dr. I'm not an expert.
