Hi. This question is not for me but for someone who is in need of some answers. There is someone that I know that has had one great pregnancy and nothing but miscarriages after words. She's going on her 7th as I type this. She is the kindest and most supportive person and it really hurt me that she keeps loosing her babies. She has had tons of genetic testing and they came up with a blood clotting condition but, the Dr's dont think this effects her pregnancies.
I'm asking the question here because, I'm sure there is someone out there who has gone through this and maybe may have some sort of suggestion as to what is going wrong.
This time around, she saw a hb at 5w5 days but the dr said it's not viable until they see it at 10 weeks.
Thank you for your advice in advance.

I've known 3 different women who have had multiple miscarriages (ranging from 3-7 each). One was due to her diabetes, one was due to her epilepsy and one woman only miscarried baby boys (something genetic in the family). There must be a reason why she is miscarrying so often. Only a doctor would be able to tell her what that is. She could try going to another doctor to get another opinion.

I hope that everything goes will with her current pregnancy.

Good luck!

i am the opposite, i had five miscarriages before having any of my kids! ITS AWFUL and i am sorry to hear that she is going thru this! there are sooo many things that could be causing it......... and trust me i know how it feels "not to know what the cause is"! everytime i would get pregnant and miscarry the drs just acted like "oh well, you miscarried " i was getting really annoyed and was starting to wander if i would ever be able to have a baby! then i got pregnant with my son and went to a different dr and she said that she thot it was because i wasnt given the rogham shot after any of my miscarriages and since i am RH-, i have to have them!!! i now have five boys and a girl on the way! i wish her luck!!!

Of course a blood clotting issue would effect pregnancies. The lining of the uterus has to be just right. Blood that doesnt clot wont form the lining needed, blood too thick wont allow the ovum to implant properly.

Maybe your firstborn messed things up in there before he left so that he doesn't have to deal with siblings.
