does anyone know what site i can go to to read up on history abt Kentucky and its history and homes (and gravesites) ? Cause i wanna learn abt its history and see if any of the homes have been haunted by the spirits that didnt get to finish their work.

These websites have information about places in Kentucky that are supposedly haunted. Some of the info is duplicated in more than one website. If you read about something of particular interest, I think you could probably do a specific search for that location.

These websites give some general history about Kentucky. You could also search for the history of specific cities and towns, influential people like Daniel Boone and Mary Britton, involvement in historic times like the Civil War, etc.

And this site lists most of the registered cemetaries in Kentucky. Unfortunately, cemetary registration is a relatively recent thing. Many people were buried on their own estates or plantations without benefit of official government involvement. But you might be able to link to specific cemetaries to find out more information about the permanant "residents".

Hope some of this helps. I live near a city most famous for an 1836 battle at a place called The Alamo. Lots of history, lots of ghostly stories.
