y do so many guys come out and say their gay as thay enter high school?

I came out before high school so i can't say from experience. But i don't think that you can be predisposed to come out at a certain time. Looking at it that way the switch to high school is a big change in ones life. I have found that it is easier to admit something while there is a change going on because id like people to know for a fresh start.

Also it might be because they've been around there circle of friends for a long time by then and feel comfortable telling them.

Well in Middle School there isn't a GSA club is there? Since there is a GSA club at most High Schools boys AND girls feel better if tehy do come out because they are not alone. My close friend came out this year and I'm glad for him because he doesn't have to live a life of fear anymore.

For me, it was feeling the freedom of being able to be honest and still accepted by my peers.

High school doesn't have to be the horrible trial it once was, and hiding your true self from your friends is no way to spend four years. The culture has changed, society has changed, and it is just not as big of a deal as it used to be.

Some dont come out till collge or even later. But I think thats when they start getting feelings for other guys and become comforatble with their homosexuality.
