Sorry i just put my question across and thanks to those who already answered but i did forget to mention another thing!!

Basically I ovulated around the 15,16th of feb and had sex.
Had been spotting 28th&30th (brown/pink) and have never spotted before!
Today have been a slight bleed (red), but visable when wiping.

I did a hpt yesterday and it came negative.

I was told that its best to wait a week after implantation before taking a test.

Now because of the light bleed, im wondering if this is a period or normal for implantation?

Like i said ive never spotted!

Anyone have this before?

I had what i thought was a light period with 2 of my pregnancies.Sometimes they are implantation bleeds or sometimes they happen due to hormones. Both these pregnancies resulted in healthy babies.Id wait a week and do another test

FYI, with urine PT's a positive is about 99% accurate while a negative is about 50% accurate. If you are not even a week late you may not have enough HCG to register on the HPT. Some women still get a negative 3-4 months into their pregnancies!

I had implantation bleeding/spotting that lasted for 4 days (outside the norm) and was mainly brown/pink. Red is not the best for implantation bleeding, it's rare, but it's possible.

Unfortunately I would suggest waiting another week (if you can't stand it, at least 3 days) to see if your period arrives or to take another HPT. There is a more sensitive test that you may want to use the next time around, I think its called first response.

Good Luck!!!

it can be normal for some to have implantation bleeding. Even if you start you period but it is not normal (shorter in days, or lighter in flow) you should still take a pregnancy test.
