what is something i can say to a close friend, in a birthday card? i don't wan to make a plain card saying "Happy Birthday! I HopeIt's a good one!" i want something more.. possibly funny.

Check any cards shop that sells Hallmark cards. There are usually some very funny cards from which you can pick out lines that would be appropriate. I never stop laughing when reading those cards.

I'd try going to a store and finding something funny. If you want to make it yourself, copy down what's on the best card.
