Hello, I am possibly moving to Los Gatos soon. I currently am nationally certified, but I have no state certifications anywhere. What kind of schooling/certification/cost are involved to sell there? (I'm from Louisiana.)

If you want to be a real estate agent, I would suggest that once you get to LOS GATOS, go and contact with some local real estate agents and explain to them that you want to be a real estate agent, usually they are good about it, those real estate offices are always looking for people. And if that don't work, I would suggest go to your local ROP (regional occupation program) and sign up for the "free" real estate certification program. Also, here is a link http://www.californialicense.com/real-estate-license-courses.html

that helps....

National certification does not confer rights to licensure I believe. The link to California's requirements for sales persons is above.
