OK... lets get it out of the way...
Are you sure she's not a chimp?
Right now we can all relax and be sensible!
It is likely that it will only be a short lived thing that she'll grow out of. Some people are just more hirsute than others and she may have to learn to live with it. Alternatively it could be a slight hormone imbalance which may be treatable and MAY result in other side effects.
There are a LOT of growth hormones raging around kids at this age so these sort of problems tend to be more pronounced than they will be once the person gets older.
Either way, its worth running past the doc just to get checked out.

the hair on new borns body is called lanugo hair. and it is normal. it will go as the baby grows.
u can use the home remedy of bath powder whn u bathe the baby.
the traditional bath powder( grandma styel) where in haldi and some more indian herbal stuff is added to make it a bath powder and used for babies.this supposed to work both as cleansing agent and for keeping the skin smooth and supple and also for removing hair the natural way.
babies have very tender delicate skins. so do not get worried abt this hair problem and do not use any harsh creams as to get rid of the hair. it will reduce on it's own as the baby grows.pls do not worry.

I think she's too young to worry about it. My daughter who is seven now has had a LOT of hair (fortunately a light brown, not dark) on her back and legs since she was a baby. I have never pointed it out to her as I don't want her to be self conscious. So far it has NOT been an issue. She has never been teased, never complained about it. When she does, as she gets older, we will look at several options, probably waxing for her back and she'll start shaving early for her legs. I 'd like to do laser hair removal for her but it depends how old she is when it starts to bother her about being hairy.

Its probably just part of her genetics. You can see a doctor or dermatologist about it. In some cases its just baby fuzz and will clear up on its own.
Children from certain ethnic back grounds tend to have it more, like those from the middle east and india. Italians tend to be more hairy than others too :)
Dont make an issue of it around her, or you'll make her self conscious.

My daughter is 4 and she does too. Don't worry. You sound just like my wife. I think it's baby fuzz that she'll grow into. Be thankful that she's healthy and happy!

dont be so worried about, and certainly dont let her know you are concerned about, she will grow out of it...but by no means let her think shes gotta keep it covered up...you shouldn't keep it covered up either..she will sense that something is wrong if you worry about it alot...be proud and happy...definatly do not try to get rid of it...

She is too small. Most of them will go while on her growth. Nothing to be worried.
