everything was filled out correctly over a month ago, yet they have no record of it on line, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone on the national line.

I'm beyond the point of asking what else can I do to get the passport in time ... I want REVENGE ... how do I get that?

You have your receipts, go back to where you applied and demand to know what is going on or who to call. If you paid for expedited service and did not get it, that constitutes fraud but read the small print. If it says thirty WORKING days it will be longer because of the weekends and holidays. (Presidents Day, MLK etc. )

That is bureaucracy for you, always give yourself three months to get a passport. You learned the hard way.

The best you can do it try to get a passport by taking the original documentation from the date of file back to the passport office and having them do a status check.

As for revenge, there is nothing you can do, they are the government.

Hate to be pessimistic but you will probably find that they have covered themselves for that type of eventuality, so the chances of you being able to claim comp may be very slim.

You cannot do a thing except learn to apply a lot earlier in case of just such an event.

Welcome to the world of beauracracy. This is why I don't do these types of things online. I do it in person, even if it takes longer, you can make sure you do it right the first time.

CALL YOUR SENATOR AND EXPLAIN TO HIM WHAT IS GOING ON.

DID YOU GET TRACKING NUMBER FROM POST OFFICE?

IF SO HAVE THEM TRACK WHO SIGNED FOR IT!
