I know they cancelled the last part of their last tour to go back in the studio. So, I figure they must have had stuff they couldn't wait to put down. On a side note, I was a bit skeptical about Shadows and Syn sharing duties with Good Charlotte on "The River". But, I actually kinda like it. Without the A7X influence, though, the song would blow. The song is like emo with a big sac.

Avenged Sevenfold's fourth studio album, currently untitled, is in the works, and is scheduled to be released on October 31, 2007, Halloween.
On a side note, The River is actually kind of good even though I can't stand Good Charlotte.

Pretty soon, I think it's due either this year (before X-mas) or early next year. (Heard it on MTV2 when the band was playing Guitar Hero)
