Sorry, I'll buy special holiday T-shirts in future, so I can wear them for a week and not upset your authentic Hungary experience package holiday, eh? I suppose you were wearing traditional local costume from the looms of the people?

Oh and do let me know what would be a suitable haircut, so anyone in my group who normally chooses to shave theirs can have a few weeks to adopt your approved style.

two reasons:

1. Pride. Great Britian is Great for a reason you know, and
2. So if we get so plastered we have no idea of who we even are let alone where we live then at least we have a reasonable idea of which part of the world we come from, and that way we never get lost. Very clever really!

they are designed to be worn in sporting activities to reduce the effects of being hot any sweaty i.e. being of a light material that wont absorb moisture easily. In a hot climate, this would reduce discomfort. If it was a hot day i could understand this.

But if not then i think it is because they want to bring england with them. Its the same way they refuse to try foreign food...

Because they somehow feel being English is something to be proud of. However, all they succeed in doing is looking like thugs and give the English a bad name abroad.

its your national uniform old son. when they leave England they like to let other people know who they are. it's sort of like an old fashioned crusade/invasion. why shouldnt they be proud to be English? i always wear my Northern Irish top when i'm on holiday.
what would you rather have them wearing?
a nice bowler hat?.
