Do you think that World War Three will happen?

Given what is going on at the moment, (Oil, Climate change and so on) do you think that World War Three will happen? And if so, what do you think the effects would be?

Hopefully, We need to cut down on our population if we are gong to survive. Our sucess is killing us !

I think in a way it has already started. Look at the middle east. Everything is torn apart, people are fighting everywhere. Nostradamus even predicted that the third world war will start there. And look at terrorism, it's already spilled over to many countries in the world. Don't lose hope though. Maybe there will be peace again in the future. Hopefully for good. All we can do is pray.

Yes I do.With current government in place that is evident.I think the effects will be devastsating.We could see as much as 50% or more of the worlds population just anielated.I think our country will survive just because Americans are strong and independant.
As our government keeps thinking they are better than everyone else.Countries will increasingly step up to challenge us.They see the scandals our government is involved in.And it really makes them madd.We are the pot calling the kettle black.If you know what I mean.
Eventually Iran or North Korea.Or some country like that will get nuclear weapons.That is when it will happen.They will shoot one and that will start a chain reaction.Just be thankful that we will survive as a country.You might be able to beat our government.Because in all honesty most government officials now-a-days are cowards.But you will never beat back the American spirit.We will prevail

If every country have hight egoisme posible the war world tree will be havening soon plus if one's country miss understanding with onather country.
The effects: crisiss in everything, the world shattered, and we will never find peacefulness in this world.

I don't think so... Because if it happened no one would survive it. Just think about the atomic bombs and stuff like that. They would destroy everything. And I think that all the people know that if they threw one of those bombs onto another land, then they would also get a bomb into their own land.
I guess (and hope!) that everybody is just too scared to start it!

My perspectives? My view is that your history and English instructors must be fired, and that your wisdom of worldwide affairs, to no longer point out militia features is almost decrease than 0. if there are more troops in iraq, insurgents will call for more fighters. in my mind, although britain is out of this, WWIII will erupt unless China and North Korea give up communism and start cooperating like friends. or else, the nuclear country, Iran, could easily ask the other nuclear country, North Korea, for help against the US
