Something else to get your mind off of it. Let the baby decide when s/he wants to come, not you!

You could walk. Make sure to take some with you and go walk. Walk at the mall or Wal-Mart or where ever you can. Gravity will help to pull the baby down. If you are alone then don't go by yourself. You don't want your water to break and have to drive to the hospital. If you have an exercise or yoga ball sit on it and gently rock or bounce. For the most part you really can't do anything to start the labor process. Castor oil will make you sick and you'll either be vomiting or on the toliet for a while. While vomiting has been know to start contractions I never tried it. Just be patient and it will come. I was 3 for 2 weeks and had to lose my plug for a week and a half before my Braxton Hicks gave way to true contractions this last time. The 1st time I was at 1 for two weeks and then my water broke with out warning at the grocery store a half hour from the hospital. Hang in there.
Good luck and God bless

This isn't recomended by most and I am not telling you to do it, but when my grandmother had her 6 kids, to help induce labor they had her use castor oil. IT is in a small container at the pharmacy (wal-mart or anywhere) I used it with my first two, but I used it on the day of my due date and went into labor. It can cause cramps so beware. Also walking can help, and I have heard sex helps, the orgasm causes the uterus to contract which can start contractions for real. Also sperm softens your cervix. OF course at the time of labor, Ididn't feel like sex. But if your up to it. Good luck.

honey, i don't think of there is absolutely everyone at YA which could answer this for you. All i visit assert is that perhaps it truly is pretend labor. if you're dilated sufficient, you are able to be laying contained in the labor room along with your family members, near to push that toddler out. If the medical doctors have not admitted you into labor and delivery yet, then you definately are literally not waiting. once you're contractions get close sufficient, flow tell them you're in labor. they can grant you with stuff (i visit't save in ideas what it truly is stated as) which will % up your labor. they could damage your water. yet they gained't do all of this until eventually it truly is time. do not trouble, the toddler gained't stay in there continually. enable nature take it truly is route. i understand the feeling you're going through, it truly is been 10 months and no toddler yet, it receives truly onerous. yet as quickly because it truly is over, you gained't even imagine about this time, yet only have a good time with elevating your toddler for something of your existence. reliable luck and congrats hun!!

have lots of sex, sperm has stuff in it that makes your cervix ripen even more, so it could make you have contractions... also besides walking you could do some serious cleaning... my mom and all those old people said they would just start cleaning heavily to get ready for baby and they would get so tired.. then lay down relax and within an hour or two labor started.. but be careful dont make yourself pass out or anything. good luck!
