I would say theres no life close enough to us to invade us, or they just dont want to invade us, or humans will go extinct long before they get here.
Although its possible that it could happen tomorrow, in reality, Earth will never be invaded. The distances are just so incredibly vast between objects in space, that the chances of even encountering any form of life (as in microbes, let alone bad a** aliens) from outside of the solar system before we all go extinct is probably zero. Even if aliens are able to travel faster than light by some process we don't yet understand (or may never even be able to comprehend), they probably wouldnt bother with visiting us. Humans may be nothing impressive to them, and other planets similar in climate to Earth, although rare, probably include millions.
Projects like SETI kind of hinted at the sad truth that intelligent life may simply be pretty rare. Although theres gotta be life all over the place, the chances that evolution would produce life similar to us is probably pretty rare. The Earth has had a habitable climate for hundreds and hundreds of millions of years, and humans have only been around for a million or so, and modern life has only been around for a few hundred, and may go extinct soon. This is probably the case around the universe, why we dont detect aliens, and why well never be invaded.

I think probably there are other planets that contain life, but there is absolutely no proof of it. Also, there is no reason to believe that evolution on other planets happened any faster than on earth. And there is no reason to believe that other cultures could invent a propulsion system that would take them the great distance between galaxies or even stars. So I think the likelihood of us making any contact with any extraterrestrials (much less being invaded) is zero.

There are more possible answers:
1. Tomorrow
2. It already was invaded, but we:
2a: don't remember it
2b: didn't notice it.
3. Three days after our extinction
If they would like our planet, they would be similar to us. So we can fight them, bargain with them, eat them, or buy them.

Invaded is not a word I like, but some kind of obvious visitation may quickly make you call yourself HUMAN, rather than "caucasian," "American," or "Jewish." Maybe we really should be looking forward to the aliens.
