head gasketts are cheap...about $30...BUT THE LABOR to install it will be about $400

Depends on the engine, a head set usually costs about $100. It is better to replace all the seal and gaskets that are above it, and also have the heads checked out before reassembly. Save yourself another repair on top of that one. The labor is the expensive part of that job. Alot of work, especially if you don't have alot of tools. Good Luck.
