I think he's a better defensive midfielder than Alonso anyway.
He won't be as good as Gerrard because his passing & shooting lets him down, but yeah as far as a defensive midfielder goes I think he's a great player.

He will work better with Gerrard and Alonso. No one player can be bigger (unless your name is Crouch). It's all about coming together as a team. Then you are truly great.

Mohamed Lamine Sissoko (born January 22, 1985 in Mont-Saint-Aignan, France), often referred to as Momo Sissoko, is a French-Malian footballer who plays for Liverpool F.C. in England and for Mali. Sissoko is a tough tackling defensive midfield player. He is often compared to Patrick Vieira due to similar high energy levels and a tendency to make hard tackles.[2]

He seems a bit injury prone - but must admit he's too good to be wasting away at Liverpool -
all you have to offer him is your precious History......listen Super Scouser (Mickey Mouser) History is for Historians GET OVER IT and realise that the good times are over AND GONE FOREVER .
17 Years (and counting) since you last WON the Premiership......how funny is that ?

Yes, he MAY be young, - and, he IS a skilled player, - that, I will concede, - but, whilst he COULD be better than ALONSO, - he'll NEVER be HALF as talented as his team-mate, STEVEN GERRARD, M.B.E.!

he definately has the ability to be HUGE, but he will never be a GERRARD in the eyes of LIVERPOOL faithful, cos he's not a SCOUSER...
p.s.. did you know that LIVERPOOL "stole" Momo, while he was on his way to have his medical at... EVERTON
