it's made of metal, has 4 spotlights and a microphone. only thing writtin` on it is "fungso" and some japonese-chinese-thai characters.

You should find the manufacturer name and model type, and then go directly to the website to download drivers. For example it could be a Logitech webcam, etc. If it says Fungso - that might be the manufacturer, but unfortunately a quick look on yahoo doesn't find anything matching that name.

You know what?. It could be one of those cheap junks that came from China. Just throw it away and buy a new one. They are not that expensive. It's not worth the hassle of breaking your head just to figure out who is the manufacturer and searching for the drivers. If the sticker on it has only strange-looking foreign characters and nothing at all in English, then nothing can help you.
