does implantation involve a light bleed?

Been spotting for two days, a brown/pink colour, (12 days after ovulation), then today a light bleed that is quite red but only enough to see when i wipe so far. (Today should be my due date anyway).

Ive never spotted so this was weird for me to see, now the light bleed. Has anyone happened to them and they were preggers? Or was it their period?

That happened to me this week and just did a pregnancy test today which came out negative. I would just suggest going to Superdrug or boots and buying a pregnancy test kit after the spotting/bleeding is finished to reassure yourself.

I had the whole implantation bleeding but I only spotted for 3 days. It seems like it was about a week b4 my period was expected. I took test after test but it didn't show positive until I was 2 months preg. Good luck

Implantation can involve bleeding, but not necessarily. If you are spotting on Day 12 and have never spotted pre-period before, it could definitely be implantation bleeding. Good luck!

Implantation bleeding occurs at the same time as an egg has been fertilized and implants into the liner of the uterus. because the liner uterus is made from blood, there might want to correctly be somewhat blood expelled in some women human beings.

Yes that happened to me with my second baby. I was overly upset but it was all explained to me and everything was fine. I even got a scan and he looked like a bean! They check for cysts and ectopic too if you're worried. Go to the a&e if youre that worried but at this time of the week they may not do anything till monday if it's still happening.

Good luck x
