The teaching in the Catholic faith simply explains that an individual's responsibilities and priorities shift from parents to spouse and eventually to the children after marriage,this is proven by verses in the Bible,I personally believe that it is just the cycle of life although I don't think that one should turn his back on his parents completely.

Because after marriage It may be a girl or a boy who ever gets married once they get married that girls lives for her husband and that boy lives for her wife .what ever the sorrow is they should share them between them selves.Hence they give more priority to their partners as compared to their parents.

Because they could have marriage in mind and if their partners cannot see that kind of commitment in them before they marry then what makes them think they will get it after marriage. Some may think, parents they already have one another and therefore it's time they too find one that will be there for them through life at least they will outlive their parents before they are taken into another place.

When a man takes a wife, she is his priority. The same is true of the wife: her husband is her priority. Everyone else takes a step back, including parents and children.

At puberty or in adolescence, some forget the efforts of parents in bringing them up and may not think their own parenthood. If kicked by partners, they approach the parents alone.

Everybody, unconsciously likes to live in the future than in the past for it is than,when he is older that he is going to require his partner more, when his parents may not be anymore or too feeble for any worth.
It is a Survival Instinct he derives watching his own,old parents.
Of course, their children too are watching them and so it may be wise not to overdo it.

Because your partner is your life now, not your parents. When a kid leaves the nest, and becomes an adult, they have to live their own lives, not their parents. I was happy when my 2 sons moved out, and got married, and successful.

Than dont happen with all the people but when it is i think its because they feel a fear that parents are old and dont live forever so they attach to their partners to feel safe

I'm not sure what you mean. I give a lot of respect to both my, and my husband's, parents. However, I don't live with them. I live with my husband, so he has priority.
