My partner and I don't talk at all during sex. Not everyone does.
You're perfectly normal.

If you feel you need to say something, then do so. Why don't you try and surprise her by telling her you love her or that she's beautiful the next time you're having sex? It doesn't have to be "dirty" talk (which can also be nice, but you generally have to work up to that if you're used to having sex in silence). Just try something gentle and touching at first. Let her know what you're thinking. And then maybe she'll start telling you what she's thinking.
And if you're happy and talking before and afterwards, I don't think silence during sex is a bad thing.

First of all, is ok to say sex. You see? Sex sex sex sex… yahoo won’t block it.
Now, about your question, there are many things a couple can say during sex. From moaning, to screaming, to “I love you” or “I want you”, or “harder”, “give it to me”, “oh yes!”… LOL
It can be anything!
Some people enjoy dirty talk, while others like to be romantic. It all depends on each of you, and the situation. I have done quiet sex, done romantic, romantic that leads to crazy dirty screaming, plain moaning, crazy wild screaming that I’m not sure how the police hasn’t showed up at my house, etc, etc.
Just let it out next time, you could say something romantic like “I love your eyes” while you are looking at her while being on the missionary, or if she likes dirty and kinky, maybe call he a “b i t c h” while doing it doggy style… hehe. Just make sure you know what she likes, as it could be insulting. But if she likes it, and you too, then go ahed! Is fun.
That is the beauty of sex, while in bed, you two can pretend to be anything, and do whatever talk you want!
Have fun!! (don’t expect any of you to talk if your mouths are full… LOL).

If it's what I think your talking about, why would you want to carry out a conversation during..........lol Seriously though, it's a preference among the individual if your going to use that type of talk during. I personally don't like it. Here and there yeah but to do the "talk dirty thing", I'm not for it. It's a turn on to some.

It probably is not uncommon for some to do that, but it makes you wonder if you Both are enjoying the act. When my Man and I have Sex, he and I both are very verbal. I will say things like Give it to me Big guy, Come on now make me hollar, you get the idea and he in turn says dirty little things to me that is exciting. You take the lead and say little things to her during Sex, she may feel uncomfortable saying anything because you do not say anything..Go enjoy yourselves but let your Partner Know you are doing just that!

Of the eight women I've had that way in my life, all but my current woman liked to talk during sex - to a point, that is. After a certain point, they were too caught up in making, shall we say, other noises. But my current woman prefers no talking - she finds it too distracting. That's okay with me - we do plenty of talking at other times.

I don't think there is a right or wrong way here. Talk if you feel comfortable talking, or just enjoy the moment without talking. Have you asked your wife about this?

What a revealing question.. I love it!!
IF you talk, the kids might wake up.. or if they are awake, they will want to come jump in the bed with you, or the baby will want a drink of water, or the dog will whine for attention. In some cases, silence is golden.. so shut up and get rich!

Try saying the things you want to say and see how she reacts. Have a conversation with your wife about this sometime when you're not in the sack - see what her feelings are about more communication during (you know)...

it just depends on the people involved. some like music some like to talk dirty, some role play and some just don't talk. but if your wanting more talking just explain to your partner what you are wanting and why, the other person may surprise you with wanting to talk more as well or just tell you some of what they want during those intimate times.

Some people like pillow talk while others prefer silence or just the sounds of pleasure. Try a little naughty talk, see how she responds
