Several of them are songs that I listened to frequently while I was hopelessly in love with a girl.

The Bette Midler songs were played at funerals

The graduation song reminds me of my high school graduation

Peaceful world reminds me of 9/11 esp. since I downloaded a WTC remix that was done very well.

Don't take the girl and whiskey lullaby are just very touching sad songs of course they also make me think of "the girl"
