1. Why don't people hold funerals after miscarriages?
2. Why do doctors put embryos into freezers until they can be used - if you did this to an actual child, it would be child abuse, but it's okay, I guess, when it's an embryo. Why? Why is abusing an embryo okay, but "murdering" one is not?

1- Murder is defined by the unlawful killing of another person.
Abortion is legal, therefore not murder.

2- A child is defined as a born individual. A fetus is not born, so therefore a fetus is not a child.

COns hate the truth. They prefer hysterical emotionalsim.

To answer your questions:

1. It is not a societal practice to have funerals after miscarriages, but people do grieve and mourn just the same...

2. An embryo can survive in a frozen state without being harmed.

Conclusion: Abortion is killing. Whether you believe it's an egg, a fetus, a baby, a group of cells...it's killing. The rhetoric is: Is it WRONG to kill it? I say life begins at conception, and therefore, yes.

Yep it all can be explained away except for number 1. Because it's either most don't have miscarriages or they are hypcrites. "Guess an unborn life" isn't worthy of a funeral like the rest of the family would have. Not a proper burial place just discarded in the trash.

Is a seed a tree? Why is our birthday considered our age? We are actually ~9 months older. Considering an embryo a human is a contrived definition that helps bring lawless murderers to account. The unintended consequence is that it removes control of a womans body from her and gives to a bunch of busy bodies. An embryo is a nonsentient parasite. It can result in serious consequences to the woman carrying it. It is damaging to a woman's body. Women can die from pregnancy and did regularly before modern obstetric care. The old pioneer graves are populated with dead mothers and their babies. The mothers lives can be turned upside down by unwanted pregnancies. They are consigned to 18 years of hell with an unwanted child. The crime rate in the country started going steadily down 14 years after abortions were made legal. Look at Brazil, they send police forces out to kill their rampaging, hostile, out of control beasts masquerading as teenagers. It takes so much effort and love and expense to raise a child. An old truism, 'The nicer the parents the more vicious the kids can be'.

for those that want, and try hard to have children,
only to loose them midterm, sometimes have funeral services for their un born child.

Your were mistaken when you said people do not hold funerals after abortions.
It is done all the time,
Parents must be asked if the foetus can be used for medical reasons, and some sign up for it,
while the others choose to give the child a funeral,
it is all in who is making the decisions
such as when your parents were expecting you,
they made the decision to let you go full. term. some make wise choices.

What fabulous logic you are espousing. An embryo is an unfertilized cell. It takes the sperm to fertilize the cell then it becomes life. Life begins at conception. Ask your mother whether or not she thought you were alive while she cared for you those 10 months. Apparently you are a product of our public education system and with any luck you will not breed to further pollute the gene pool.

Actually - some people DO have funerals for their miscarriages. Especially if they carried the baby past the second term.

I just wanted to add my two cents - I really don't have an answer to your question though.

Who says abusing an embryo is ok? Is this a serious question? I think you'll find that anyone who is against abortion is typically against stem cell research - much less the freezing of an embryo.

Many people do have funerals for miscarriages. I have known of several. It is usually the aborted babies that are thrown in the dumpster or sold for industrial use. The wanted babies which are lost are mourned.

an embryo is not a child yet, much in the same way that a child is not an adult yet.

They're still human.

My aunt and uncle had a funeral after an abortion. Childbirth would've killed both of them.

Dennis, an EGG is an unfertalized cell, what're you smoking?
